Schools and Colleges

There is always a waiting list of schools, colleges and sixth-form students hoping to join the Libra projects as numbers are limited each year to ensure that the quality of preparation given to students is adequate for the challenges they will face. Most students will join in the Lower Sixth and be involved for 2 years, after which a few are invited back from university to join the Libra Team Leader Development Programme.

The Libra team includes students from the following Schools and Colleges:

King Edward VI School, Southampton (KES):

KES is an independent mixed school for 11 to 18-year-olds in Southampton. Tim Tofts, one of the founding Trustees of Libra, is a teacher at KES and initiated the project in 1999.
