Trustees
Diana Heatly is the Chairman and Trustee for Therapy. Diana recently retired as an experienced Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist with the Southampton City Primary Care Trust and the Rose Road Association. She worked with children with profound and multiple disabilities. She is now a Trustee of the Rose Road Association.
Bill Darley is the Finance Trustee. Bill is a qualified Chartered Accountant and brings years of experience from the world of business to ensure effective risk management strategies and tight financial controls are in place to enable projects to be delivered as planned.
Tim Tofts is the Schools’ Trustee. Tim is a teacher of Philosophy at King Edward VI School, Southampton and brings his teaching experience and a solid belief in the value of the Libra project. He started the project in Onesti in 2000.
Olivia Darley is the Youth Trustee. Olivia has been on the projects since 2001 and is a psychology graduate from Guildford University. She is a teacher at More House, a large special needs boys’ school in Farnham.
Project Director
Virginia Darley is the Project Director. Virginia is a Norland Nursery Nurse and has worked in child care development for 30 years. Most recently her roles have been as the Child Care Development Manager for a national day nursery company and as a Senior Home Visitor for Portage in Southampton, a home visiting service for children with special needs.
Office Staff
Rebecca Dawkins is the Publicity Officer. Before joining Libra, she managed the arts charity Independent Arts, taught as a Primary school teacher and she possesses a broad range of business skills gained through her employment with HSBC Bank. Rebecca studied Art and Psychology for her BA Honours Degree, as well as Graphic Design a little later and is able to put her creative skills to good use for Libra.
Tania Flewitt is the Operations Manager. Educated at King Edward VI School, Tania has been volunteering in Romania since 2003 and has been with The Libra Foundation since its inception in 2007. Tania has become familiar with the complex issues that face the disadvantaged communities and the struggles they face. Tania graduated from The University of Leeds in 2010 with a BA (Hons) Fine Arts degree, before going on to work in a Special Inclusive Learning Centre in Leeds with a wide variety of children and young adults with learning, behavioural and physical disabilities. She now splits her time between working as an LSA at Kings Worthy Primary School and as Operations Manager for The Libra Foundation.
Heidi Groves-Raines joined The Libra Foundation in 2008 as Events Manager. Before having a family she was an Events Manager for The Outward Bound Trust based in central London.
