Barlad

Barlad is a city in the county of Vaslui in the North East of Romania. It is known as the City of Flowers and the locals take great pride in adorning every lamppost or pylon with a display of flowers.

The Summer Project

2012 will be Libra’s first year in Barlad and it is proposed to run an integration project with children and young people from the elementary school, the Rroma community and the residential homes in the city.

Representatives from the Town Hall have been very supportive of Libra’s involvement and are looking forward to welcoming the team.
